Industrial Machinery Technician -Day Shift

Century Cabinetry is currently seeking to hire an Industrial Machinery Technician, hours will be Day Shift Monday – Friday 7-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on
  • Motors
  • Pneumatic tools
  • Conveyor systems
  • Production machines
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Fabricates & repairs parts/equipment.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories.
• Provides mechanical maintenance assistance to operators and leads by answering questions and completing requests.

Familiarity with woodworking machinery and techniques a plus

Preferred but not required experience:

• Industrial wiring and conduit experience
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics
• Basic machine shop / fabrication procedures
• PLC programming capabilities a plus
• Plumbing / pipe fitting experience
• Welding experience
