Finishing Supervisor – 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

Summary:

Cabinet manufacturer in Leesport, PA is looking for a finishing department supervisor responsible for workflow oversight and results by providing leadership and supervision to employees. Sanding, spraying, staining/glazing, and maintaining flat-line finishing system operations. Production demands must be met regularly while supporting company standards of acceptable finished goods/materials. (Flat-line operations use water based UV technology giving off virtually NO VOC’s into the environment.”

Essential Functions:

• Supervise/lead production employees driving consistent results while continuously working to improve established procedures and standards.
• Communicate goals with ability to support and motivate/mentor workforce.
• Directs work; provides clear direction to achieve departmental goals for quality, productivity, and safety
• Collaborates with various departments across the organization to meet corporate goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have five plus years of managerial experience (cabinetry industry preferred).
• Must be able to life 15(+) pounds regularly. Doors, parts, and other miscellaneous materials are handled with care daily.
• All production personnel, due to the nature of the work, are required to stand on their feet for an entire shift (with exception of break periods and lunch).
