2nd Shift Finishing Department Supervisor

Century Cabinetry, a leading cabinet manufacturer in Leesport, PA, is seeking a bilingual 2nd Shift Finishing Department Supervisor to lead our finishing operations in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment.  This key role oversees workflow, quality control, and team performance during the second shift.  Initial training for this position will be conducted during first shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on leadership to second-shift team members involved in sanding, spraying, staining/glazing, and operating our flat-line finishing system.
• Supervise evening operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.
• Motivate and mentor employees, clearly communicating expectations and departmental objectives.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to align second-shift efforts with overall company goals.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards—our flat-line system utilizes water-based UV technology with virtually no VOC emissions.

Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory or management experience, preferably in cabinetry, woodworking, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual Proficiency (English/Spanish)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 15+ lbs. and handle cabinet doors, parts, and materials with care throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods during the production shift (excluding breaks and lunch).

Shift Details:

• This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.
• Training will take place during 1st shift hours before transitioning to 2nd shift.
